Our client, a well-established Oncology practice located near Old Orchard in Skokie, has an immediate need for an experienced clinical RN, licensed in Illinois. Ideal candidate will have a background in Oncology, including the mixing and administering of chemotherapy drugs, but doctor is willing to train a skilled and highly experienced nurse from other specialties. This rarely available position is due to a replacement on their staff.
In a small office setting, you will interact closely with the doctor and another nurse. The position is 30 hours weekly, no weekends and no overtime. If you require 40 hours a week, a compromise may be possible. The main goal is someone who is passionate about his or her work, highly experienced in direct patient care, and easy to work with. This is a friendly, family-oriented office.

This is a temp-to-hire position, meaning that the candidate would be an employee of our staffing firm for about four months. At that time, if everyone is satisfied (you, too!) you would convert to the client's payroll and become eligible for their benefits.
This is strictly a telephonic position. You will use your clinical training and experience to handle about 25 cases a day. On any given day, you may be authorizing physical therapy, investigating home health as an option for patients and/or handling large case authorizations involving multiple recommendations. You will receive training from another CM nurse and there is support staff to assist with systems and procedures. The Chief Medical Officer is available for questions/issues.
You will need to be literate in Microsoft Word, Excel and email. You should type about 30 words per minute. A background check will be performed.

The Therapist covering this region can expect to average about 6 treatments per day. The Therapist will plan and implement specific treatment/programs for home health patients according to principles and practices of physical therapy. Evaluate patients' functional ability using appropriate tests. Develop specific physical therapy goals to be included in the Plan of Care. Administer and instruct prescribed physical therapy treatments to restore functions, relieve pain, and prevent further disease or injury.
If no insurance is needed the rate of pay are:
